چکیده

Pectinolytic enzymes are related that hydrolyze pectic substances. of great interest in industrial applications for softening fruits, extracting and clarifying juices, olive oil, retting textile fibers, preparing gel, isolating protoplasts. The current work presents acidic extracellular pectinase production using low-cost agro-industrial waste with the indigenously isolated novel strain Aspergillus cervinus. Two fungal isolates, ARS2 ARS8, maximum activity, 41.88 ± 1.57 IU/mL 39.27 1.14 IU/mL, respectively, were screened out 27 isolates from decayed fruit peels (orange, banana, lemon) soil containing decomposed vegetables. isolate ARS2, identified as cervinus by molecular characterization, showed highest activity 43.05 1.38IU/mL during screening was further used media component optimization studies. To understand their effect on one-factor-at-a-time (OFAT) studies conducted carbon sources, nitrogen mineral salts. Solid State Fermentation for Production of Chitosan by Aspergillus Niger

The effect of Solid State Fermentation (SSF) on Chitosan production by A. niger was investigated. A. niger BBRC 20004 from Biochemical and Bioenvironmental Research Centre of Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), was grown on corn residue. Chitosan was extracted from the fungal mycelia using hot alkaline and acid treatment. A. niger was incubated for 12 days on corn residue with moist...

Optimization of Fermentation Medium for Extracellular Lipase Production from Aspergillus niger Using Response Surface Methodology

Lipase produced by Aspergillus niger is widely used in various industries. In this study, extracellular lipase production from an industrial producing strain of A. niger was improved by medium optimization. The secondary carbon source, nitrogen source, and lipid were found to be the three most influential factors for lipase production by single-factor experiments. According to the statistical a...
